PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK KANDANG SAPI DAN POC LIMBAH SAYURAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU (BARASSICA CHINENSIS VAR. PARACHINENSIS)

Abstract

This increase in production shows that mustard greens are vegetables that are popular with the Indonesian people. One of the efforts that can be made to increase mustard greens production is to increase the availability of nutrients in the soil. This study aims to determine the effect of providing cow manure and vegetable waste POC on the growth and production of green mustard plants (Brassica chinensis var. parachinensis). This research was conducted in Sidorejo Village, Langsa Lama District, Langsa City with an altitude of ± 10 meters above sea level. The research time was carried out for 1 month, starting from September to October 2023. This research was arranged using a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK). Factor 1 is cow manure and factor 2 is vegetable waste POC. The factors observed were cow manure and vegetable waste POC with 1 variety of Shinta F1 green mustard which was repeated 3 times. The parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, root length, sample weight per plot and weight per plot. Cow manure significantly affected plant weight per plot but did not significantly affect plant height, number of leaves, root length, and sample weight per plot. Vegetable waste POC significantly affected the number of leaves 14 HST. However, it did not significantly affect plant height, root length, sample weight per plot, and weight per plot. The best results were obtained in the O2 treatment: 450 ml/l water/plot. The interaction between manure and vegetable waste POC significantly affected the weight parameter of sample plants per plot. To cultivate green mustard plants, it is recommended to use vegetable waste POC with a dose of 450 ml/l water/plot
